How does it all work?
100% of the proceeds from these golf days goes to Wheels for Hope’s work providing mobility for families with disability in Western Australia. Our vans change lives, and your support means we get to keep doing that.
On the day itself, you can expect enjoyable day of networking, friendly banter and competition while supporting great charity work – plus, plenty of good food and drink.
The Charity Golf Day will be in the popular Ambrose format. This allows all standards of golfers to come together and play a rewarding 18 holes. You don’t need to be a pro to participate in and enjoy this spectacular day on the green – all skill levels are welcome!
Why we hold Charity Golf Days
Wheels For Hope receives no State or Federal funding, so we rely on the success of events and other fundraising efforts (like our Car Days and Telethon) to keep our wheelchair-accessible vans rolling.
Charity Golf Days are an opportunity for our wonderful WA community to come together. They showcase the generosity of our much-appreciated partners, sponsors, donors, and volunteers – it’s a day for raising funds, but also for celebrating our supporters with a fun event.
Proceeds from participation in our Holeseekers Charity Golf Day directly contribute to the upkeep of our fleet of vehicles, helping families across WA to safely and comfortably transport loved ones with disabilities.
Getting involved on the day
Entering a team
We run our Charity Golf Days for teams of four; you can choose whether this is your friends, coworkers, or members of your own community group.
Our Golf Days are excellent networking opportunities. While you arrive in your own team, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to mix and mingle with the rest of the players throughout the day.
Other ways to help
We always welcome sponsors to help us make the day extra special for participants – or one-off donations in place of participation.
For corporate sponsors, this could look like sponsoring a prize, one of the novelty holes, or contributing auction items, or otherwise helping to make sure the day goes off without a hitch.
Why not contact us to get involved with our next Charity Golf Day. We’d love to hear from you!
We appreciate your support
