Supporting Telethon (and Wheels For Hope)
Combining entertainment with generous giving, Telethon Weekend is an iconic event. This year’s show includes Australian legends Guy Sebastian, Samantha Jade, and Vanessa Amorosi.
Last year WA donated $77.5 million towards children’s charities through Telethon – including Wheels For Hope. We can’t wait to see what this year brings from the generous WA community!
What does Wheels For Hope do?
We provide life-changing access to wheelchair-friendly vehicles for people with disabilities in WA. This allows the families in our network to overcome mobility hurdles, making transport easier for everything from essential medical treatment to exploring some of Perth’s best wheelchair-friendly activities for kids.
Our fundraising efforts go towards keeping our fleet on the road – insurance, servicing, maintenance, and other necessary costs to make sure our vans are safe and accessible at all times.
We aim to make a difference in the life of people with disability, who need assistance with transport. Thanks to the generosity of the WA community, we have been able to deliver on this year after year.
More Events with Wheels For Hope
We love engaging with our community, and count ourselves fortunate to have fundraising partners and sponsors who believe in our mobility mission as much as we do.
Looking for more ways to support our fleet? Try our Events calendar for updates on our popular Car Days and Golf Days.
